Our Forklift Slippers

Forklift slippers are simple attachments that temporarily lengthen the tynes of your forklift truck. They’re designed to increase reach and improve stability when handling large items, unpalletised loads and other equipment. Whatever application you have in mind, Bremco can supply a forklift slipper attachment that is compliant with AS2359.15. As per the Australian Standard, forklift slippers should be no longer than 167% of the supporting tyne. If you exceed that maximum length requirement, the use of your forklift slippers will be restricted to the specified application.

Our forklift extension slippers are available in many lengths:

• Class 2 forklift slippers. Available in lengths between 1.6 and 2.4 metres, our class 2 forklift slippers are ideal for loads between 1,500kg and 2,500kg.
• Class 3 forklift slippers. With sizes ranging from 1.6 to 2.4 metres, Bremco’s class 3 forklift slipper attachments are designed for loads between 3,000kg and 5,000 kg.
• Class 4 forklift slippers. For heavy duty applications, our class 4 forklift slippers are sized between 1.8 and 3 metres, with load ratings up to 8,000kg.

Bremco’s existing catalogue includes forklift slippers up to 3 metres long for handling loads of up to 8 tonnes.
