Bremco Snowy Hydro Custom Crane Site Bin a Winner

We recently completed a Crane 40 Tonne Site Bin for the Snowy Hydro 2.0 project.

Its unique design included a purpose built Bisalloy steel swingarm that allows the crane operator to remove any manual rigging labour. Weighing around 10 tonne tare, this custom site bin is capable of loading up to 40 tonne of spoil as the working load.

Bremco had previously manufactured a 20-tonne crane site bin for the Snowy Hydro project site engineers. Impressed with the product, they challenged Bremco to produce a larger capacity unit. The site bin required the highest quality welding and post welding checks, and the Bremco team rose to the challenge, producing a customised 40 Tonne Site Bin for the project.
